The Sister Antoinette DesRoches Historical Committee

The Sister Antoinette DesRoches Historical Committee is a sub-committee of the Association of the Acadian Museum of Prince Edward Island. Founded in 2000, the Committee established as its objective “the promotion, research, and the diffusion of Acadian history, as well as the protection of Acadian heritage”.

The activities of the Sister Antoinette DesRoches Historical Committee are varied and numerous, such as:

– the organization of the Forum 2008 of the Acadian Historical and Heritage Societies;
– the annual awarding of the Prix Gilbert Buote;
– the publication until 2010 of the historical magazine La Petite Souvenance.

The Sister Antoinette DesRoches Historical Committee is composed in 2011-2012 of the following members:
